Kids U and Hawk STEAM Academy 

Gain a competitive edge in the HR field with the SHRM Certification Prep Course through UHCL’s College of Business Center for Executive Education. This comprehensive program is designed to boost your confidence, expand your knowledge, and help you prepare to pass the exam on the first attempt. Interactive, live online sessions are led by a certified SHRM instructor and meet once a week.

                Course Dates: August 21 – November 6, 2025 – classes meet via Zoom on Thursday evenings.

Daryl Fontenot, '94 MBA

has been reelected to the Board of Regents for Lee College, Position 6.

Fontenot, a Baytown native, has served on the  Board since 2019 and was elected chairman in 2023. He is a Certified Financial Planner and a Senior Vice President with Merrill Lynch.
